I’ve been pretty busy lately, with trying to plan for Peru, and midterms, that I’ve been neglecting my blog! As June gets closer I’ll be getting more specific details about my trip and what I’ll be doing, but to start with here is the most recent details I got from CATCCO… They need Kelsey and I to help document their homestay and volunteer programs for their website and other promotional materials. They also wouold like us to document different sustainable-alternative tourism activities in the Ollantaytambo area for materials promoting sustainable tourism in Ollanta… Although not a ton of information, its nice to have some idea of what we will be doing, and has simply encouraged my Peru guidebook obsession!
Don’t forget to take a look around the site to see all of the ways you can help support my trip!
Hello everyone, thanks for visiting my blog! This summer I am planning on volunteering in South America (with a good friend of mine) as a photographer in order to help promote non-profit organizations that otherwise lack adequate promotion and advertising. I’ll be using this blog to chronicle my fundraising efforts as well as my experiences once I’m abroad. I am currently trying to raise funds to cover my expenses while I’m down there, so be sure to visit my etsy shop. All of the money raised from sales in my shop will go directly towards my trip.
If you are not interested in buying my art, but would still like to support my trip you can do so via the paypal link in the left sidebar. I understand how tough the economy can be, so do not feel pressured to give a large donation, something as small as $10 is enough to pay for a hostel for the night, so really every little bit helps! I am in the midst of finishing this site, so be sure to check back in the coming weeks to see whats going on, and in the mean time, take a look at some of the interesting sites I have linked on the left side of the page!
